I have known Mr. Rob Johnson for a number of years, primarily thru a coincidental relationship on a multiplicity of files in the Construction, manufacturing, & Oilfield Services industrial sectors. Our organization has been in partnership with Toole Peet Insurance for almost 5 years. After Smith Insurance merged with Toole Peet, Neil Hogg took over as our acocunt manager providing a pooled insurance program tailored to not-for-profit organizations and in particular to Calgary community associations. Currently, because of the service and the product about 98% of our community associations have enrolled in this program. Working with Toole Peet, in particular with Neil Hogg, has been excellent. Cathy Strand and her team (Jenn Stevens, Erica Siver) have been great to work with. Cathy has gone out of her way to explain insurance in general, and the specific risks that our non-profit agency would face. Her and her team are willing to answer all my questions, and have offered support and suggestions as we update various policies. Cathy has met with our Board of Directors to explain Directors and Officers insurance, and has also met with a group of non-profit Finance Managers. I feel this is the first time that I understand insurance, and Cathy truly understands the non-profit world with our specific risks, issues, and funding constraints. I would highly recommend Cathy and her team to any non-profit looking for a trustworthy insurance agent.

Sometimes it takes a disaster to acknowledge the people that have done their jobs in an exemplary manner. Alice Mason is one of those people. She has been our house and vehicle insurance broker for 20 years. I’ve always left it up to her industry knowledge to find and provide the right insurance for our needs. Before the renewals of our policies, she has called to inquire if our needs have changed or to provide updated information. Because of her professional manner and wonderful people skills, I was gratefully able to trust her judgement and leave it up to her to make the best decisions for us. When the best people in a business are taking care of your needs, you can sleep at night. I want to make sure she is commended for her service to us. Whether it be home, vehicle or travel insurance she has been there to help and advise. The fact that she also offered herself and her son’s help when we returned to our home (High River), did not not surprise me in the least. There are many people in High River that will be reviewing their brokers and insurance companies and I will wholeheartedly be providing Alice’s name and Toole Peet to them.

Charles Okodua has been our personal insurance broker for years now. Our son recently experienced his first MVA while we were out of the province. After reporting the accident to Charles, Charles knew right away something was wrong. Charles called us and advised us our son should be re-evaluated at a clinic or hospital. He was right! My wife and I had to renew the insurance on our cars and house so we decided to seek assistance from our friend, Alissa Stewart, an insurance broker with Toole, Peet and Company. Alissa asked us about our needs very thoroughly and then researched the offerings of eight different insurance companies to determine the best fit with our needs. Ken and I have been customers at Toole Peet Insurance since 1984.
